I'm not saying it's perfect. Nothing is. - Two 100Ah batteries give you redundancy. If one fails, you still have power. They're easier to handle individually. But you need proper busbars, matching cables, and careful configuration to ensure balanced charging and discharging.
What did I choose? For that client—a remote workshop that couldn't afford downtime—I went with two 100Ah units. It cost about 15% more in installation labor, but the redundancy made sense for their use case.
